Damaged Parts or Shortages: Please inspect your parts immediately upon arrival. Shipping Damage or Shortages must be reported by the Customer to the Courier (UPS or FedEx) and CCOT within 24 hours of receipt.
Your damage claim is between you and the Courier.
All orders shipped from CCOT are fully insured. When an order leaves our warehouse, merchandise becomes the responsibility of Courier. If damage occurs during shipment, or package is lost or not received by Customer, it is the Customer's sole responsibility to file a claim with freight Courier. You will have to save the shipping box and all materials to prove your claim. If you see visible damage to box then be sure to make note on the UPS or other Carrier's delivery log when you sign for parcel.
For UPS claims, call 1-800-PICK-UPS or your local UPS office at once to report the damage or loss. UPS will send a representative to inspect your package. Again, make certain you retain all shipping boxes and packing materials for UPS inspection.
IMPORTANT ~ Only after UPS has been made aware by Customer of the damage, a claim filed, a claim approved and a claim number issued, should you then contact CCOT to report item(s) damaged or shorted. It is only after these steps have been successfully completed, that CCOT can replace parts.
