HFS™ Designer Lift fits FJ40 & BJ40 - 1961 to 7/'80

The "HFS™ Designer Lift" Gives the Customer individual control of their desired lift height.

The final lift height is controlled by the shackles that Customers choose.

If Customer chooses the 1½" HFS™ "Barbell Shackle", then their lift height (over stock) will be approximately 3¼"

If Customer chooses the 2½" HFS™ Barbell Shackle", then their lift height (over stock) will be approximately 3¾"

Actual lift hight may vary if 40 is not 100% stock.

Note: The "HFS™ Leveler Block" included in this kit, cures the Driver's Side Lean of most FJ40s. CCOT designed and extensively tested our HFS Leveler Block FORMULA on many FJ40s. We found that our HFS Leveler Block cured the lean on all test vehicles. Block is pre-installed on top of the right side rear spring stack. The "Leveler Block" is an exclusive CCOT product.

Mount Front Springs with long side away from axle toward the front of the vehicle.

Mount Rear Springs with long side away from axle toward the rear of the vehicle and Leveler block spring on right rear side.

HFS Springs are "Lift Springs" not "Overload Springs".

Finally, a lift spring kit to fit 40/42 Series with "Suspension Correction Kit".

2ea. Front HFS lift springs have 2.5" of lift.

2ea. Rear HFS Extreme lift springs have 4" of lift.

Suspension Correction Kit not included.

This HFS spring combination will greatly counter the unlevel vehicle effect (high in front / low in rear) caused by the shackle reversal of the Suspension Correction Kit.

HFS Suspension Correction Lift Spring kits fit FJ40 & BJ40/42. Lift height may vary depending on set-up.

All HFS Springs have stock spring eyes diameter, bushing size and pin diameter.

HFS Lift Springs are "Softer" riding than any other FJ40 Lift Spring.

"HFS Leveler Block" cures the Driver's Side Lean of most FJ40s. Leans vary from Cruiser to Cruiser depending on spring age and type. CCOT designed and extensively tested our HFS Leveler Block FORMULA on many FJ40s. We found that our HFS Leveler Block cured the lean on all test vehicles with new springs. Block w/Pin (4" x 3/8") installs on top of the rear passenger's side spring stack. Add HFS Leveler Block to top of spring stack (like an additional top leaf) and bolt down with spring center pin.

Note: The leveler block pin head diameter is 9/16"

The threaded pin bolt diameter is 3/8"

The "Leveler Block" is an exclusive CCOT product.

Note: One Customer with a 1964 FJ40 had a lean on the Passenger's side (instead of the Driver's side) and had to install his leveler block on the rear Driver's side to level his vehicle. In his case, the rear spare tire rack was on the Passenger's side (opposite of later models) instead of the Driver's side. So, the theory is that the block installs on the rear spring on the opposite side of the lean and in his case the opposite side of his rear tire rack.
