CCOT has realized that our Customers can save $$$ if new CCOT body panels are shipped "In The Raw" as bare steel (w/protective anti-rust oil coating)... In the past, CCOT shipped panels primed and Customers complained that primer caused more work when installing panels... Customers had to grind off CCOT primer to weld / install panel in place and that Customer's top coat paint may be incompatible with CCOT self-etching primer... In addition, some Customers wanted to prime direct to Raw steel with their own anti-rust specialty coating such as POR-15 or Zero Rust... A clean Raw panel makes an ideal canvas to apply protective coating, use primer of choice and weld / install new panels in place... You're in Control... Thanks, CCOT |
