 Sirs, re the pumpkin orange color code referenced on your color page - maybe I can help a bit. I own a 73 (#144586) bought new in Columbus, GA (pictured left) - it's a one owner, so I know it well. I've had it completely apart for 2 restorations and there are no paint codes that I've ever seen. It came new with a small can of touch up paint (long since dried up) with NO numbers, code or anything. For many years I was a Dupont and Sherwin Williams automotive paint dealer and was never able to get a mixing code - it was like the color never existed. I believe that Toyota bought 1 or 2 lots of the color (maybe at a reduced price) and for some reason decided not to use it any more. I've only seen a few other LCs that color, all around 72-74, BUT - I've lived in Costa Rica and Venezuela for several years and saw one or two in each place, so I know that the color was shipped all over the world, not just to the US.
Over the years I've developed an EXACT match color that can't be distinguished from the original - here's the gallon formula in PPG MAE acrylic enamel:
