CCOT's beaded weather-strip (Hard Rubber, like original) that fits between Hard Top Rain Gutter and Hard Top side walls. This weather-strip was custom built for CCOT and is a continues strip that is 17'-10" long (cut extra long). Designed to be as original except for inside "T" flange which was removed by design so that rear corners can be "V" notched and formed to fit. Weather-strip is quick and easy to install and at 1/4th the factory price. This is a Quality Part and a great money saver for your restoration project. A proven CCOT restoration part for the budget minded restorer.

W/S is 17'-10" long (cut extra long).
Weather-Strip Installation Instructions.
Turn Hard Top upside down.
Clean rain gutter free of debris.
Lay W/S down on rain gutter w/bead to outside.
Shark teeth (pre-cut by CCOT) relief cuts install at both rear corners
Position bead just touching the inside of rain gutter rivets.
Glue to seal W/S in place with 3M Glue Prt# 3M08011
How to Glue Weather-Strip: Run a continuous glue bead the full length of W/S with extra bead (2 beads) at each rear corner. Glue helps seal W/S and holds W/S in place during installation. When gluing weather-stripping, glue short sections at a time. Apply THIN layer of glue on BOTH the W/S and rain gutter; allow glue to air dry about 1 minute (air dry time varies w/humidity) before bonding surfaces together. This is contact cement and must air dry to seal and make a quick / strong bond.

| | |  Weatherstrip, 3M Glue ~ #08011~ Use 3M Glue (#08011 - Black) for installation of door weather-stripping (w/s). One tube can glue front & rear FJ40 doors. Glue works best above 65 degrees. First, remove old w/s and clean door surface with solvent. When gluing w/s, work in short sections and don't don’t stretch w/s. Apply thin layer of glue on both the back of w/s and door. Allow glue to air dry about 1 minute before bonding surfaces together. 3M Glue (#08011) is contact cement and must air dry to make a quick and strong bond. Super Glue ends of w/s together for a clean seam.
