CCOT has taken the perfect molded shape of OEM W/S and has simply made it slightly thicker with a higher density closed cell foam rubber to better seal out annoying external conditions.
CCOT's Custom made "BEST" W/S maintains its seal longer over time because of the compactness and heavier consistency of closed cell foam construction.
"BEST" Weatherstripping is a CCOT Exclusive product that fits more airtight and watertight than any other FJ40 weatherstripping. It's the "BEST" Weatherstripping for FJ40s.

CCOT's original front and rear door weatherstripping is thicker than OEM and made with a higher density closed cell foam rubber. CCOT's original W/S lasts longer because of the compactness of the cell foam construction. CCOT W/S fits more airtight and watertight than original weatherstripping and makes for a much quieter ride. CCOT's original weatherstripping greatly reduces annoying wind noise and drafts.

| ~ Use 3M Glue (#08011 - Black) for installation of door weather-stripping (w/s). One tube can glue front & rear FJ40 doors. Glue works best above 65 degrees. First, remove old w/s and clean door surface with solvent. When gluing w/s, work in short sections and don't don’t stretch w/s. Apply thin layer of glue on both the back of w/s and door. Allow glue to air dry about 1 minute before bonding surfaces together. 3M Glue (#08011) is contact cement and must air dry to make a quick and strong bond. Super Glue ends of w/s together for a clean seam.

Make easy work out of the tedious task of old weather-stripping removal with 3M's Adhesive Cleaner.
This is a great product for removing the remains of old weather-stripping glue before installing your new weather-stripping.
Cleaner is a specially blended solvent which provides easy cleanup on most types of adhesives, bugs, greases and oils, overspray, silicone, waxes and tars. Will not harm thoroughly cured automotive paints, vinyl, or fabrics when used properly.

| Adjust doors after installing new weather-stripping for optimal seal. |

| Installation of Weather-stripping ~ Remove old Weather-stripping and clean door surface with solvent. Use 3M Weather-strip adhesive Part #08011 (Black). When gluing Weather-stripping, work/glue short sections at a time. (Don’t stretch W/S) Apply THIN layer of glue on BOTH the back side of W/S and door; allow glue to air dry about 1 minute before bonding surfaces together. This is contact cement and must air dry to make quick and strong bond. Super Glue Ends Together for a clean seam ~
