The FJ40 wheel well is made in two panels, top and side. Both pieces "Die Stamped" with original rib patterns.
Wheel well ribs vary in number, length and in pattern (depending on the year). CCOT configures / stamps wheel well rib patterns correctly for your year.
New side-well features a rear panel offset which allows panel to slide in and behind door jamb frame for easy installation. This offset is a CCOT exclusive design and is featured on all CCOT side-well panels.
CCOT panels are made with heavy 16 gauge cold rolled steel. Factory steel was 18 gauge (thinner) from 1975 to 1984. Older FJ40s (1974 to 1958) were made with heavier 16 gauge steel. Heavier gauge steel forms smoother and requires less finish work than 18 gauge panels.
Quality wheel well panels are Built and Backed by CCOT.
Because of some FJ40s having received body tub swaps, we suggest you measure the length of your top wheel well panel as a precaution to order the correct part... Thanks
